Project

DOTP (Dioctyl Terephthalate)
Basic PropertiesDOTP is a transparent, clear liquid with no visible impurities, offering excellent plasticizing properties. It has a low melting point and good heat resistance, cold resistance, and low volatility. It is particularly suitable for the processing of PVC plastics, providing products with excellent electrical insulation properties, durability, resistance to soap solutions, and low-temperature flexibility.

Main Uses
1. PVC Plasticizer: DOTP is mainly used in PVC products, offering excellent durability, low-temperature flexibility, heat resistance, and cold resistance. It is widely used in the processing of PVC materials, particularly in soft PVC products such as wire and cable sheaths, flooring leather, packaging films, and more.
2. Environmentally Friendly Plasticizer: DOTP does not contain phthalates, making it environmentally friendly and compliant with regulations. It is not included in the list of 16 restricted phthalate plasticizers in the EU and other countries.
3. Wire and Cable Products: DOTP is widely used in the PVC sheathing material for wire and cable products, providing good electrical insulation properties, while maintaining high resistivity, heat resistance, and cold resistance, ensuring stable performance of cables in various environments.
4. Food Packaging Materials: As a plasticizer, DOTP is used in food packaging films and complies with regulations on food contact materials.
5. Medical Devices: DOTP is widely used as a plasticizer in medical devices and equipment, enhancing durability and safety.
6. Other Applications: DOTP is used in synthetic rubber, coating additives, precision instrument lubricants, lubricant additives, paper softeners, and other fields.
PrecautionsStorage and Packaging: DOTP is typically packaged in small-mouth steel drums or plastic ton containers. It should be stored in sealed containers in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area, away from incompatible substances.
